For shoes: Sizing can vary from style to style, so we recommend using the AI sizing tool on our website. It will walk you through taking a photo, determine your measurements, and then recommend a size for the specific style you're interested in. You will find the tool halfway down on the product page where it says “Find your shoe size with a quick scan”. There are additional details and recommendations under the sizing chart drop down menu on each product page. 
For dancewear: Each product has a sizing chart with measurements for our dancewear. You can find this in the “Size Chart” drop down menu on each product page.


Comfortably! Here are some guidelines we suggest:

Shoes should have little to no growing room as this can lead to injury.

Ballet flats and jazz shoes should hug the foot and be on the snug side.

Hard soled shoes like character shoes, tap shoes, and ballroom shoes should be comfortable without any heel slipping.

IMPORTANT:Pointe shoes should only be fit by an experienced fitter. This is critical! Save your feet and be properly fitted.

The dance life of a shoe depends largely on the type of shoe and how much it is used. A pointe shoe often has a shorter life span than a ballet flat due to its design and level of use. Ballet flats, however, will last a long time depending on the surface on which they are used and to what extent they are stored and taken care of.

Special care should be taken with all shoes, and your Só Dança shoes are no different.  

The best way to protect your hard shoes between class is to keep them out of sunlight and away from dust by storing them in their box or a shoe bag.  

Your soft shoes, including ballet flats & jazz shoes, should be allowed to air dry before you leave them in a dance bag. This is also true, and especially important, for pointe shoes.

If you get a mark on your leather shoes, use polish and a light cloth to massage the mark away. Canvas and other fabric shoes can be spot cleaned to look as good as new.

Your Só Dança bodywear will have a very long dancelife if you look after them. They can be machine washed in cold on gentle cycle and hung to dry. Putting your bodywear in the dryer puts stress on the stretch fibers and will shorten their wearability.

Yes. Any items on your order that are not in stock will be placed on backorder on your account until we can fulfill the purchase or there is a request to cancel backorders.

Credit cards can be declined for several reasons. One we see most often is an error in the "Bill To" address. You must be sure that the billing address for the credit card is the same as the billing address on the order you are trying to enter. You may also need to double check the credit card number and the CV2 number of your card. If you have checked that information and continue to have problems, please contact your bank.

Your privacy matters to us and your information is secure. We use up-to-date security technology to create a secured connection for all transactions. We also never store credit card information in our computers and your email address, mailing address, and all other information is kept private.

Items can be exchanged at any point.

For up to 30 days from the day of delivery, items can be refunded.

FINAL SALE ITEMS cannot be refunded; they can only be exchanged or receive online credit.

Items must be purchased from sodanca.com in order to get an exchange or a refund. We cannot accept returns from other retail locations. If you have purchased a Só Dança product from another retailer or another online store and you need a return or exchange, please contact that retailer directly.

Before shipping a return, photograph the item for your records.

All refunds are for merchandise only! There are no refunds for shipping originally paid.

If you bought an item that requires 10-14 weeks delivery time and you cancel that item(s) after 3 days of purchase date OR you wish to return the item for a refund once you have already received the item, you will be deducted a $7 penalty fee per item and a 15% restocking fee per item from your total refund and you will not get refunded for the shipping amount. However, you may exchange any special order item, but it might take another 10-14 weeks for the exchange to arrive, unless we have the item in our stock, then it will be immediate delivery. You can also choose full online credit with no fees or penalties.

Please ensure to pack your shipment securely to prevent any damage to the items. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. If a package gets returned to us because of a wrong or incorrect shipping address OR if a package gets stolen or is not delivered, then we can reship your order. No refunds; no exceptions.

For your free return label please click here. We will send you one return label via email. If you need to make another exchange then you will have to pay for the return label(s) yourself or we can charge another $5 for another return label to be sent to your email. Please include the order number and name on the order and we will send the return label to your email associated with your order. Please let us know if you want to get an exchange or a refund. If you'd like an exchange then please let us know what size and/or color and/or width you'd like to exchange for.

Any product bought at an event and not directly from our website will need to be shipped back by the customer’s expense. Exchanges, online credits, and refunds can still be obtained. But we do not supply return labels for any products bought at events.

If you'd like a refund

Please make sure items are sent back as they were received. Every returned item(s) must be in their original shelf-ready condition, which includes tags, bags, and boxes. So Dança will accept returns of products that have been “tried on,” but our return policy does not apply to returned products that show signs of actual use (pulled strings on ballet or pointe shoes, markings on the soles of the shoe, make-up/deodorant stains on a garment, dog/cat/human hair). Used items that are returned to us will be donated, disposed of OR sent back and you will not receive any credit. If an item gets returned to us and it needs new tags, new box, new bags, new laces, new taps, new buckles, etc you will be charged a 15% restocking fee from your invoice.

It can take up to 5 days for an item to reach us. Once the item is received at our fulfillment center, it takes 3 business days for the refund to be processed and 3-5 business days for the refund amount to show up in your account. Refunds will only be issued to the original form of payment.

Orders can be canceled within a one hour window of your purchase. If you have a So Danca account, click “Cancel Order” on your My Orders page before placing a new one. If you don’t see a link, then our warehouse is already packing up your shipment and we can no longer cancel your order, edit the address you’ve entered, or change the items within the order.

All in-stock orders (both standard and expedited) are processed within 1-2 business days.

Note: If you place an order after 3pm EST on a Friday, your order may not be shipped until the following Monday.

Yes, every order is provided with a Canada Post tracking number. You will receive an email with the tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally. We do, however, have distribution centers in many other countries that can help you with sales outside of Canada. Please reach out to infocanada@sodanca.com
